The school is situated in a semi-rural setting, overlooking the historic city of Canterbury. From day one all pupils are made to feel part of the Kent College family and this nurturing atmosphere extends from the boarding house to the classroom. It helps pupils to build a strong work ethic, and to develop the confidence to excel in their chosen fields.

Why Choose Us?

Academic Success

We continue to achieve outstanding academic results and achievement in all areas of school life. KC is ranked as a top 10 UK School for the IB with a 100% pass rate at GCSE and A Level.

International Study Centre

Students find a welcoming environment in our ISC. Personalised programs created by specialist teachers to help students develop their English language skills and achieve outstanding results.

Something for Everyone

Benefit from over 60 clubs from yoga to engineering, or our choral society to Duke of Edinburgh. With incredible facilities and sports fields for training to regional and national standard.

Great teachers

Attention to the individual is key to academic success at Kent College. Small class sizes mean that teachers get to know each pupil, to assess their needs and monitor their progress closely.

Exceptional Boarding

Boarders make up a third of the school with all the boarding houses situated centrally on the school campus. Every child receives a warm welcome and given personal attention and supervision.

Riding and Farming

The school has its own working Farm and Riding Arena. Students have riding lessons or can join our Young Farmers Club to get hands on experience of showing and working with the livestock.

Individual Progress

With an exceptionally broad curriculum that facilitates a vast range of interests and skills, our success comes from the individual approach we take to building a bespoke timetable for students.

Culture of Care

An unfailingly supportive community that produces considerate and generous pupils who lead by example. All receiving personal attention and supervision to ensure they feel secure and confident.

Dyslexia Support

The Dyslexia Support Centre is a haven of help for those amongst the school intake that need extra support. Students are taught all the mechanisms that they need to access the whole curriculum.

Progression

We pride ourselves on being able to provide a personalised learning experience, where we can organise the curriculum to suit the child.
