Trips at KC
We love taking our pupils out on school trips enabling them to learn while they explore. This starts at an early age with pupils visiting the school’s working farm and from Year Three onwards they will be going on day outings to local points of interest from castles to forests or museums to the seaside.
In Year Five residential sports tours are introduced for all children and these take place each term. The tours are 1 or 2 overnight stays and will involve fixtures on a Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. This helps to develop independence and understanding of teamwork and decision making whilst the children and staff attending have a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Our Year Five children are also all given the opportunity to enjoy a 3 night outdoor education experience in Northern France. This involves climbing, teambuilding, water based activities whilst enjoying the delights of nights under canvas.
In Year Six residential sports tours are introduced for all children and these take place each term. The tours are 1 or 2 overnight stays and will involve fixtures on a Thursday/Friday and Saturday. This helps to develop independence and understanding of teamwork and decision making whilst the children and staff attending have a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
