Bus Service
Kent College operates its own in-house, bespoke transport scheme with a fleet of school minibuses and dedicated drivers, all of whom are MIDAS accredited and have first aid training. This service offers parents peace of mind, particularly for younger passengers.
Routes currently run from Ashford, Dover, Hythe/Folkestone, Deal/Sandwich, Herne Bay/Whitstable and Charing, and we offer a shuttle service to and from both railway stations in Canterbury, as well as the bus station. We are always open to suggestions for new routes.:

Various levels of service are available:
- Full Pass – up to 10 single journeys per week
- Half Pass – up to 5 single journeys per week
- Railway/Bus Station pickups/drop offs

There are limited spaces available on our services and places are issued on a first come, first served basis. Temporary or one-off journeys may be available in exceptional circumstances with the prior agreement of the school and if space allows. Charges are based weekly on return journeys Monday–Friday inclusive throughout the term, and are levied termly in arrears to the school bill.
Please note: in the afternoon buses normally depart at 5.30pm after activities, however at the end of each half term departure is at 4.30pm.
