Where to find us

The School is situated just off the main road leading out of Canterbury towards the A2, Faversham and London.

If you plan to come to Kent College Infant and Junior School by car:

From London and Faversham: take the Canterbury slip road off the A2. Turn right for Harbledown. The school is directly ahead of you. Turn left and the entrance is a few yards on your right.

From Dover and villages south of Canterbury: take the Canterbury slip road off the A2 onto the A 2050. Turn left in Canterbury city centre to travel clockwise round the ring road. Leave Canterbury following signposts for London. Go across the London Road roundabout and continue towards the A2. Immediately after the turning on the right for Rough Common, turn left for Harbledown. The school is directly ahead of you. Turn left and the entrance is a few yards on your right.

From Whitstable: Cross Thanet Way and follow the Canterbury road through Blean. Turn right through Rough Common and follow this road down Palmars Cross Hill to the junction with the main road. Turn right and immediately left towards Harbledown. The school is directly ahead of you. Turn left and the entrance is a few yards on your right.

From Ashford: Follow the A28 into Canterbury. At the Wincheap roundabout turn left towards the A2 and London. Go across London Road roundabout and continue towards the A2. Immediately after the turning on the right for Rough Common, turn left towards Harbledown. The school is directly ahead of you. Turn left and the entrance is a few yards on your right.

(Please note that there is a quicker but more complicated route which avoids coming into the city, but for the purposes of simplicity for a first time visitor the route above should be easier to follow.)

If you plan to come by train or other public transport:

Both Canterbury stations are a five minute taxi ride from the school, as is the Canterbury central bus and coach station.

Bus services for Pupils

The Kent College bus services bring pupils from both schools in from a wide area of East and Mid Kent. These services arrive at the Senior School and a shuttle bus runs to and from the Junior School. All morning journeys are scheduled to arrive in good time for registration and the buses leave at 5.30pm.

From Ashford via Wye, Godmersham, Chilham, Shalmsford Street, Chartham and Thannington.

From Sheldwich via Dargate, Herne Hill, Boughton, Dunkirk and Upper Harbledown.

From Dover via Barham and Bridge.

From Hythe via Stone Street and Petham.

From Nackington.

From Sittingbourne via Bapchild, Teynham and Faversham.

From Sandwich via Ash, Wingham, Littlebourne and the Canterbury Golf Club.
