Welcome to Kent College

Together with our Infant and Junior School, Vernon Holme, situated one mile away from the Senior School campus, we take students from 3-18 years, and boarders from the age of 7.

School frontage Kent College is situated in an enviable location on a 70-acre site in semi-rural surroundings, yet only a few minutes’ walk away from the historic city centre of Canterbury. The Channel Tunnel and access to Eurostar are only half an hour’s drive away, and London can be reached by train in one and a half hours.

The school has an outstanding reputation for bringing out the best in every pupil, and achieves excellent academic results. It also excels in music, drama, art and sport, and even has its own farm. The sporting facilities are first class, and include an all-weather artificial hockey pitch, which is converted for tennis use in the summer. A well-resourced Dyslexic Unit gives specialist teaching to students with this particular need.

The boarding community includes students from nearly 30 countries, and a particular strength is the International Study Centre, where students whose English language skills need development can receive specialist teaching and be progressively integrated into the mainstream curriculum.
