Infant Department

The bright and spacious Infant classrooms provide an environment which challenges, leads and supports a child in the acquisition of skills and knowledge. Experienced teachers work with small classes to ensure all children have the opportunity to develop both learning techniques and confidence. Assistants are on hand to work alongside teachers in Reception and Year One. Specialist teachers deliver French, Music, PE, Games and Expressive Arts and our children make full use of our impressive facilities in these areas.

Emphasis is placed on providing a well-planned, stimulating curriculum which is related to the children’s experiences. This allows us to foster independence in each child whilst teaching the importance of working together in groups.
