A feature of recent years at the Kent College Infant & Junior School has been the explosion of interest in dance.

This is no accident. Dance has been one of Man’s most joyous forms of self expression across the centuries and the pleasure of moving together in harmony is one that our children have taken to with relish.

The School hosts the annual Canterbury District Primary Schools’ Dance festival and our children perform alongside their friends from numerous other schools in the area.

Dance features strongly in the Arts Week held in the Spring Term, and this year our children were fascinated to be taught in the skills of ‘Bollywood’ style dancing. Our Charity shows are also a regular showcase for our dancing talent, and this year the performance of ‘Greased Lightning’
